The Cairngorms is one of the best places for watching wildlife in the UK, and recently I was lucky enough to visit a site where Ospreys were fishing frequently. Almost immediately this male bird flew in, dived and captured this trout first time. Despite waiting for several more days the feat was never repeated for the camera. Ospreys now seem stable on the British breeding birds list. Having been extinct for over 50 years, they are now making a comeback and can be found in England and Wales.
