Winter Mountain Workshop - Ptarmigan, Snow Bunting and Mountain Hare

A day spent on the Cairngorms in winter is truly unforgetable as we search for the specilists of the winter mountains - Ptarmigan, Mountain Hare and Snow Bunting. With temperatures equivalent to the Arctic you will get to experience these remarkable creatures in their natural environment and enjoy spending time photographing them. In winter, the Ptarmigan becomes totally white except for its tail and eye-patch, which remain black. It only breeds in the highest mountains of the Highlands of Scotland on the Arctic like landscape here. This workshop can be booked as a one to one or in combination with the Red Deer Workshop which runs on consecutive days.
