Desert Wheatear, Long Nab; Yorkshire

 

 

December 8th 2007 was a very special birthday as I was able to travel to see this straggler form the Mediterranean. The bird ended up staying for over a month, and whilst no one is sure of the bird's fate it was not seen after one particularly snappy evening.
