Workshop Diary January to June

contact me for more details on each workshop. Workshops are priced reasonably starting at £50 for the half day sessions.
North Yorkshire Moors 8th (FULL) or 15th (FULL) March
The day will mostly be spent in a wooded river valley, and is timed to coincide with the Goshawk display.
Target species; Dipper, Nuthatch, Willow Tit, Kingfisher, Crossbill.
Possibilities; Goshawk, Siskin, Otter, Buzzard
South Yorkshire Wetland April 12th (FULL)
This half day is a morning session designed to use the best light to photograph the black necked grebe at a public site.
Target species; Black Necked Grebe
NEW WorkshopNorth Yorkshire Coast 18th or 19th (FULL) April
We will visit a favourite Yorkshire wader site to photograph birds as they return north along our coastline. Hopefully we can catch some in the summer plumage!
Target Species; Turnstone, Purple Sandpiper, Rock Pipit
North Yorkshire Oak Woodland and Moors 2nd (Two left) or 3rd (FULL) May
Perhaps the most exciting trip of the calendar as spring returns and we head out amidst the dawn chorus. We will then leave the broadleaf woodland and head onto the moors to look for more migrants and Red Grouse.
Target species; Redstart, Pied Flycatcher, Wood Warbler, Red Grouse.
Possibilities; Stonechat, Whinchat, Red Kite, Dipper, Mandarin, Woodpeckers
West Yorkshire Moorland in High Summer 13th June (FULL), 14th June (FULL). Spaces still on 19th
Spectacular scenery awaits as we head onto the moors in search of Owls. This is the best time of year to try and see Short Eared Owl on the moors, with a superb supporting cast.
Target species; Short Eared Owl, Curlew
Possibilities; Long Eared Owl, Merlin, Crossbill, Ring Ouzel
