White Crowned Sparrow, Cley; Norfolk

 

 

When this American sparrow turned up on a driveway in Norfolk it seemed too good to be true. Fortunately the bird stuck around and although sometimes elusive it often showed well for the passing crowds. A collection bucket raised nearly £5000 for the local parish.
